Thanks so much for the comment! That’s exactly what I’m shooting for. Hoping to entertain while at the same time giving accurate information as well as (attempting) to be unbiased in my posts. There’s so much misinformation out there, and I hear so many Android users (repeating) the misinformation all the time. Instead of bashing Android, which I believe has come a long way since the first release (1.5), I’d rather just point out the truth. True, it’s less than 1/2 the price actually at $79 with a single contract, but despite that, at any price, the screen is too small and web browsing is not nearly as nice as it is on a device with full screen, and that’s what I think the biggest drawback is. I guess my attitude towards it all is that one buys a new phone on average every 2 years, and considering the contract price difference is $120 and all other things being fairly equal (plan, data plan, etc), I look at it from the angle of why bother with a lower end smartphone anymore when the top of the line units are under $200. Back when the iPhone was a $300-$400 and up unit, the price difference meant something, but now, with a mere $120 difference, and payment options like T-Mobile’s EIP installment plan, if you can afford the charm, you can afford the iPhone. Either way, I too hope the unit works out for you Just remember your gmail and motoblur account info as with all android devices, you don’t own the phone until you know that info…

I have been waiting for this to come out so I hope its not as bad as you say. I currently have the G1 which is now ancient technology and I still like it.
What I like about the charm is the idea that its small and doenst slide because I have issues with my keys getting damaged on the slide.
I dont think you are being fare by trying to compare it to a $500 Iphone and saying its just mediocre. The reality is its half the price so thats the draw for most people.
I still hope I love it despite your review! Thanks
